After finding freedom from 25 years of alcohol abuse in 2018, Skye Nicholson began processing her shame and awakening through poetry. In this episode ThisMrs talks to Skye about the journey of recovery and empowerment that led her to become a certified coach with Annie Grace's This Naked Mind Institute and write her first book. In Unexpected Alchemy: Poems of Addiction and Awakening, Skye's vulnerable words take the reader through a path of transformation that is relatable to anyone who has struggled with alcohol or experienced the joy of rediscovering themselves.
